One of my many goals as a photographer is to create images that invite a sense of energy, vision and wonder, translated to the viewer. I want to create a space wherein the person feels drawn to stay with the photograph that much longer, perhaps even feel as though they are there experiencing the moment themselves. In essence, my photography aims to show the infinite moments in all our lives that are worth appreciating, as well as documenting. I feel most alive when creating with my cameras and love the inspiration and fulfillment I get in being able to practice this art.

I work out of Toronto Ontario, Canada, where I feel lucky to have so many photographic opportunities surrounding me. I shoot primarily (though not exclusively) with film, as I feel it aesthetically, artistically, and emotionally conveys the palette and spirit I am searching for. My main cameras are both 35mm and medium format (TLR).

I shoot a mixture of varied photographic mediums, such as street, architectural, portraiture and nature-based scenes. I don’t like the trend of having to have a singular approach, I combine what I love and connect with most as an artist. I also strike a balance in my workflow between improvisatory or spontaneous shooting, as well as detailed and collaborative project-based work.
